Main usage
The emptying silencer meets the silence requirement of various emptying and is widely used for air silent emission for petrochemical industry, metallurgy, textile, etc.
Working principles
The emptying silencer is produced based on the principle of micro-punch plate noise elimination. After flow control, vapor of maximum velocity enters the expansion chamber and is decompressed and silenced. The vapor is decompressed to eject out as low-pressure vapor. During this process, the flow ejects through small holes, and its power reduced. Sound absorbing cotton is also need outside the expansion chamber.

Main properties
Comparing to other peer products, our silencers have these advantages:
1) Full steel structure, small and light, easy to install
2) The silence tube is made of stainless steel and has good corrosion resistance.
3) Huge noise elimination and low steel consumption(total noise elimination should be 30-42dB to meet the standard requirement)
4) The silencer is fixed separately and can meet the requirement of thermal displacement of the pipes, so that extra force does not effect on the exhaust pipe due to the silencer. Meanwhile, it can also consume the vertical and horizontal displacement of the pipe to ensure safety in thermal work.
5) Silencers on the safe valve does not affect the valve’s discharge capacity, take-off or return.

|Installation and maintenance

Installation instructions:
1. The silencer should be installed vertical to the powerhouse roof, foundation fixed with the powerhouse by steel support.
2. In order to improve wind resistance above the powerhouse, supporting foundations have been adopted on the silencer. Thus, an expansive elbow should be installed before the silencer to consume thermal expansion. If there has been a hydrophobic tray vertically installed on the original air exhaust pipe, then no need for the elbow.
3. On the bottom of the silencer there should be unblocked hydrophobic pipes or pores.
4. At the hole where the pipes traverse through the top of the power house there should be a steel sheet cover in order to keep out rainwater.
5. Theoretically, each safety door (single seat or double seat) has a silencer. For double seat doors, the gas emitting pipes can be combined to one main pipe to connect to the silencer, and two silencers for huge-emission double seat safety doors are available.
6. Pipe-shape design has been adopted for small vapor exhausting silencers for convenience. The silencers are to be installed vertical to the walls and pillars, with their pipes placed on section steel supporters on the walls and pillars, outfalls opposite to the roof. Notice: this type of silencers are produced with fixed supports, if installed with sliding supports, then fixed supports are not necessary.
